As Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia (UIII) prepares to host AICIS+ 2025, a series of dynamic side events will add vibrancy and depth to the flagship conference. These parallel activities — spanning research, international collaboration, and cultural exchanges — are designed to showcase the breadth of Indonesia’s academic and creative potential.

Research and Innovation Expo
A standout highlight will be the Research and Innovation Expo, presenting a diverse range of cutting-edge projects from Indonesia’s State Islamic Higher Education Institutions (PTKI). Focusing especially on applied sciences, the expo will feature advances in energy, food, and health, as well as inspiring works from students of Madrasah Aliyah (MA) and Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs). The event aims to spotlight how the next generation of scholars and researchers are addressing society’s pressing challenges.

Forging Global Partnerships
AICIS+ 2025 will also host a Global Partnership Forum, opening doors for collaborative opportunities with international institutions. Among the anticipated highlights is an initiative with the Rabithah Alam Islami (Saudi Arabia), focusing on fostering joint ventures in the fields of science and Islam. This special segment aims to create connections that can catalyze long-term impacts in education and research across borders.

International Education and Publishing Fair
The conference will also feature an International Education and Publishing Fair, bringing together universities, academic publishers, and campus-based micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). This space aims to enable attendees to explore the best offerings in higher education, academic publishing, and entrepreneurship, making it a dynamic meeting point for ideas and innovation.

International Culinary Festival
Rounding out the side events is the International Culinary Festival, a unique space for participants and visitors to experience a blend of flavors from across the globe. The festival celebrates the rich culinary heritage of participating nations, providing a delicious and convivial backdrop for networking and cross-cultural dialogue.

With these diverse side events, AICIS+ 2025 aims to transcend its role as an academic conference, becoming a hub where knowledge, innovation, culture, and global connections unite. Together, these elements underscore the evolving identity of AICIS+, making it an event that inspires, engages, and impacts communities both within and beyond academia.
